The City of Corry has been identified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone). Small businesses (based on NAICS size standards) are eligible for the SBA’s HUBZone program if they are based in the zone, are majority-owned by U.S. citizens, and have an employee base from the zone of at least 35%.

By these standards, Corry Contract qualifies, and has gone through the process of applying for disadvantaged status. They were recently certified for the program, which incentivizes the U.S. federal government to contract to the small businesses in disadvantaged communities, helping create jobs in communities with historically disadvantaged economic needs.
